yeah, but while inflation is one factor, your bandwidth should be ten times cheaper or more. and smart affiliates know that 50% of 1 month at $29.95 is less than 3 months at $14.95 or $19.95. i'm not saying that all sites at $29.95 rebill less, but if you walk to some big link list owners, who promote hundreds of programs you will see that it is not uncommon for less expensive sites to rebill a lot more.

the question isn't whether some people will pay it - the question is will ENOUGH of them pay it to make up for the rebills you will lose, if any, and then to make a further profit.
You want us to strengthen our dollar. Our to put it accurately, you want the value of the dollar to rise on the currency market, compared to other currencies like the euro, the yen and the pound. Yeah that is disadvantageous now, if you are spending US dollars in other countries. There are positives and negatives to that, and a source of endless debate among economists.
I don't pretend to understand how currencies work. But economies can be humming along fine, and that doesn't really have to do with the value of their currency. Right now, China is booming, and their yuan is worth less than the dollar.
One lesson I remember is that interest rates are the price of money. And interest rates for the past five years have been tiny, so consequently the value of the dollar has been practically nothing. (earning 1% interest in a savings account)
When you read in the paper that the Fed raises interest rates, like they did this week, I think that would essentially make the dollar worth more, or grow stronger. But then you have other factors like the debt that the federal governement is carrying, and even world events, which effect the value of the dollar.

It's whatever is worth it to you. My most successful affiliate program charges $29.95/month or $69.95 for three months. And lots of customers choose to rebill. So you can charge $30 a month, or whatever, if you know that people out there think that its worth it.
Why do so many people enthusiastically drop $299 for an iPod, when they could go buy an MP3 player from Dell or elsewhere for a lot less?

I do not find my trials are doing that well. Most of my signups are single Flat fees, I may be deleting my trials all together.

I am also looking for sites that want to share links, I find that is a great way to share traffic and it works well for both parties.
I just raised my prices from 19.95 to 29.95 per month and the sales have stayed consistent. It may affect rebills but I think overall it will up the revenue for myself and affiliates. I have lots of rebills at $19.95 so the price change will likely keep alot of the older members rebilling instead of leaving then coming back.
