Good for you! I am seriously considering moving out of So Cal myself. I moved out here from NYC in '99 and lived in LA and hated it! IN 2002, I discovered Long Beach and fell in love with it.Lovely beach community with a great gay community. Very mellow, very laid back and very friendly But as with so many places that become trendy, the new breed of people that are moving here are rude, arrogant and have the "me" first attitude. No consideration for anyone but themselves. It's getting very tiresome. I have met so many pathetic people recently and so many people that will do anything to screw anyone over, we are seriously considering leaving Long Beach. We thought Las Vegas, but it seems to be just as bad. Current BF lives in Kansas City, which I actually love and am seriously considering. As the song from Sweet Charity goes, There has to be something better then this!
