Maybe your right, but what if I made a ebony movie and called it Passion of the Watermelon, or a Latino movie and called it Passion of the Taco, people would really want to crucify me then for sure. That was just part of my thinking, just joking about it will piss some people off. I am sure its a bit apples and oranges maybe but it is weird how that stuff works sometimes

I wouldn't worry about the Republicans. "Rice" is kind of broad. You could be referring to Anne Rice. I would think Passion of the Rice would lampoon Democrats.... referencing Donna Rice's extramarital yachting fling with Colorado Senator Gary Hart which ended his 1988 Presidential campaign, who would have probably beaten Michael Dukakis for the Democratic nomination that year. An interesting what if scenario.....

And I also think that the Rice reference is potentially pejorative. Would you be comfortable releasing an all Black movie named Fried Chicken Freaks ?

I have to agree with the "go aheaders" of this group. Titles that have a little bit of an offensive side to them draw more people to them. And its all in good fun really. Plus I have seen far worse and nothing ever really seems to come out of it.
