Lee - I've been having similar troubles too. I'm not sure what caused it, but last week I bent down to pick up (of all things) my laundry basket. When I stood up my entire upper back and right shoulder hurt. For a few days it was really sore to twist in that direction. It is getting better finally, but still a little tender. I know the weather isn't helping, its rained here almost every day for the last 5 in a row. Its even raining again right now... I take Aileve for the pain, and at night I use some Absorbine Jr. It comes in this green glass jar and you apply it with this sponge tip on the jar and it really does help. It smells a little bit, so if you put it on, you might not be that popular, but it is effective... Good luck getting better!

Go and see a good chiropractor! I've had chronic back and neck problems and with regular chiro and massage it's nearly 100% fine all the time.
