    Well ya I still get the same error message, I was just saying when they say they finally fixed the problem they will still have the problem with the segments, because even before this new problem they still have had that one for about 4 months now.

    BTW this “Windows Media Player cannot play the file” is the same thing it say at the start of every month when they are uploading new movies, but lets not get me started on why the can not change the movies over smooth every month.

    OMG it could really be a full time job just listing all the errors they have from month to month LOL

    Yes I agree. I just got the beta for Office 2007 a few days ago and DAM if Microsoft, a multi billion dollar company and world leader in software creation can't get their own technology right, you can't blame AEBN to much. But it does suck we all suffer because of it.

    Sorry I can not be that nice about all this, if it only happened like 1 or 2 times that would be one thing but every month Damn. Every other feed I have NEVER have problems like this, its just shows they really do not care about their product at all anymore. I do not know what happened like 6 months ago but ever since then they do nothing but fuck shit up. I should not be the first to know about their fuck-ups they should be on top of this stuff, and in fact most of this should not happen at all. :bomb:

    Unbelieveable I called back 30 minutes later and and lady answered again. I told her I was calling back and she asked the tech about the problem and he said I would have to call back on Monday. I hold her she needed to fix the problem because ALL of aebn's feeds were down. She said there was nothing she could do. So I guess all the feeds might be down until Monday. Seriously who is running this company because I want to personallly talk to them. I have also emailed tech support to see if I can get a response from them.

    I am telling you man, they do not give a shit about us at all or our members. The first clue was when they stopped return my e-mail, to tell the truth I don’t even bother to e-mail them at all anymore. The only thing they are on top of is making sure they are paid every month. How many people will drop a site because of this problem over the week-end and when did the problem really happen? I am willing to bet it was not today. People are not going to blame them people are going to be pissed at us about this. I wish someone would sue them, for breach of contract, or for the loss of the members we will have to suffer for this and all their other fuck-ups. Yes I know it almost impossible to show we lost members because of them, but we all know it will happen to all of us.


    BTW it would be a good time to check you bandwidth usage over this week-end and see if the are fucking you.

    Here the the response from the email I sent to tech support.....

    "i sent this information to my supervisor and it is not that i do not care but nothing can be done until monday."

    It is just me or does that seem completly crazy? If I owned AEBN I don't care if it was my ass going down there to fix it I would get it fixed.

    aebn has always had less tech support than other companies. i remember we used to do business with them and after their tech guy went home for the day, that was it. so it doesn't really surprise me that there is no tech support on weekends.

    just my opinion, but i don't think that's a great way to run a company whose supplies content for other sites whose retention depends on those feeds.

    Ya sounds like the Global Leaders in Video on Demand do not work week-ends or pay overtime. The whole thing is so fucked up they are going to lose more money in bandwidth charges that it would cost to get someone to fix the problem “it might have been a good idea to make sure it was working before they took off too” but I guess they can still charge everyone the full price for their programs so I guess it does not really hurt them as much as us. The Tech guys need to need fired, I know the site is under a new owner now maybe that has allot to do with this stuff too.

    If I have 1 more problem with them I will drop their feeds, its not worth pissing off my members with their bullshit every month. Its like a game with them every month to see what is fucked up now, but I have the felling that I am the one that is losing this game

    Damn and all the money they make!

    My hosting company Phatservers.com kick ass. Any hour of the night I've ever asked for a domain setup or something activated, or tweaked, I have ALWAYS gotten a response within 10 minutes AND had the request completed within an hour. I'm a stickler for service to so when I get it good and go on about it just as I do bad service

    I think I might be done with AEBN. I hate how their company is ran. They have great content but have had so many problems. If it wasn't for their content I would of been long ago. I remember a couple years ago there was a huge problem, after every update their servers would be crawling. Many webmasters requested they fix the problem many many times but nothing was ever done. Members complained and cancelled because of this problem. Finally I was fed up, I posted on their board and got other webmasters to also complain because they wouldn't upgrade their servers to fix the problem. One of the webmasters who posted spent over 10k a month on their feeds plus what I spent but it really took going through alot of shit just to make them upgrade their damn servers. I think one damn webmaster spending over 120k a year on their content they would care more about us but it seems like they don't give a shit about us. They are only there to collect their money. It is just ridiculous running a leased feed company like they do.
