For a (non-adult) project I was working on a few years ago, we ended up buying a stock photography disc. www.fotosearch.com has a very large collection of stock photo discs and I'm pretty sure they have some on there that are of household pets. Not super cheap ($59-$300) for a disc, but you can usually find pretty much exactly what you need, and the photos are good quality.
