I wouldn't ordinarily jump in to a matter like this, but this just seems totally inappropriate. If you've been libeled, then you can choose to take appropriate legal action. Posting legal documents to a public webmaster board isn't appropriate legal action.
Any competent attorney knows how to locate someone in order to properly serve them. Likewise, any competent attorney knows that serving a cease-and-desist through posting to a public message board does not qualify as proper service.
Lee publicly acknowledges (and I think is somewhat proud of) his reputation as an asshole. I happen to think he's a *professional* asshole, meaning it's a persona that he carefully cultivates and uses to build his business and visibility. But... because of his persona, a lot of people dislike him... and I think you've done the near-impossible, which is to get people on Lee's side through your actions.
I'd consider rethinking the way you're handling this. Even if you do drag the matter through the courts, which is both expensive and unlikely to succeed, my guess is that the effect among those in the industry who otherwise don't know much about you and your program won't be positive.
Not judging, just offering suggestions.

this is a thread sam posted about lee during last weekend's drama. seems like sam has done at least as much bashing at lee as lee has at him. as far as i know, lee didn't mention any names during his original posts but sam did.
i admit i might have missed something - i tried NOT to follow it all too closely, but as far as i know sam is the first person who brought names into all the drama.

I did actually read the C&D.
The attorney representing Pulz doesn't win points for competence in my book, she basically lifted a shitload of boilerplate, probably from the "How to Send a C&D Letter on a Defamation Issue" chapter in a lawyer's book of boilerplate letters.
But she conveniently fails to mention that libel/defamation claims are difficult to prevail on, because, for libel, you have to not only show the statements are false, you also have to prove that the defendant (Lee) *knew* or had strong reason to believe the statements were false.
In order to win damages, you also have to be able to show actual damages/losses caused by said defamatory/libelous action. In the case of Pulz, she's conveniently admitted that Pulz' website has no images, and one can infer from that statement that there's no business being done. Ergo, no revenues, and no easy way to show damages. If she were trying to imply that the damages were related to loss of affiliate traffic to other sites, she's pretty much already lost that argument since she's referenced Pulz' website as the one that was allegedly damaged. I particularly love it when attorneys admit information in their opening letters that's damaging to their own case.
In other words, a huff-and-puff letter with no substance, by a two-bit attorney recently graduated from law school. And played out, completely inappropriately, in a public forum. What a waste of time.
The sad thing is, I was intrigued by what Pulz seemed to be doing and interested in the possibility of talking to them. But I have better things to do than do business with people who send threatening letters at the drop of a hat.

My problem is with the owner of the GA which appears to be Gary and not Lee, and im hoping he makes contact with me soon so we can sort this out properly.
If this post is 'pointless' 'childish' and not of interest etc.. then just simply dont post to it anymore and it will just go to the bottom of the pile or ask lee to remove it, the purpose of getting Lee or Gary to see the Letter has been fullfield.
Like I said before im sorry you all feel the way you do, and if that means you would no longer be interested in doing business with us in the future then im sorry to hear that to, but I'll just make one thing clear, if anyone is to ever be in the same position as my company has been then I will stand behind you and support you!
