You're on the SUZANNE SOMERS diet??? FOR REAL??? LOL!
Must be in the air. I've been working out regularly for the first time in my life. I took a weight training class over at LACC, and I came out of it inspired to finally get off my ass and get some frickin' exercise. I haven't joined a gym yet, though. I have some weights at home and I've been using them about 3-4 times a week, just getting to a point where I feel more confident and comfortable with the whole idea before I throw myself into THAT arena.
(I have a phobia of gyms. They annoy me. I hate the whole "cruisy element" of gyms in L.A. Seems to me like the vast majority of gay guys working out don't really care about being in shape -- they just care about being "hot." So I get really annoyed in gyms that have a large gay clientele.)
ANYway, I do feel much more confident and energetic lately. I always heard stories about how working out is good for your mental agility and posture and all that... but I like the way it makes me feel motivated in general. There's this new feeling that I can pretty much do anything. I like it.
