I am in love with California!! This weekend I went to Big Bear mountain rented a place on the water and got a speed boat! Stayed there Friday and Saturday. It is chilly up there and so nice. I drive down the mountain on Sunday and drive to Laguna Beach and sleep on the beach all day and have dinner and go home and it's warm again. It's amazing. I love it here!!!

I love it too! I have always been a Cali boy and always will, I honestly can't see myself living in any other state. We have it all right here. Sounds like Big Bear was fun, I can't wait until it's covered in snow so I can start skiing this year.

Its ok I like traveling around seeing new places been to Catalina and going to go up to Big Bear soon, but we are going to leave Ca with-in a year or less. Its nice to visit but I would never stay here, I am used to a higher stander of living than most people in this state enjoy, and the socialist stuff dose bother me. I really miss the much wider selection and availability of restaurants and shopping you do not have here, I have never been much for sea food, or Mom and Pop businesses.

We are going to get a house in Plano "Dallas TX" for about a year or so then head out to Ft Lauderdale after that.

BTW for the price of a 2 bedroom APT in CA I can rent a really nice house in Plano

I moved here in January of 99 from Pittsburgh, PA and it was the best move I ever made. Not that Pittsburgh isn't a nice place but I was made to live in LA. It's usually bright and sunny, there's so much to do here, and we have the greatest nuts in the world. Ha ha.

The boat rental place is right next door. You should call early and order a speed boat before they are all gone. It's in walking distance.

I too love California. I LOVE California cuisine, and I love the weather. How could you not? Plus it's a progressively liberal state and is beautiful to drive across. I'm not a huge fan of L.A., but I LOVE California!
