That, to me, says that his 'leaving' GWW hasnt really had any effect on anyone other than him hence, no loss.

Oh, he'll be back. Just about everyone who leaves eventually comes back. Once he realizes there is no real business being done on any of the other boards.

I know that sounds a bit harsh but in my mind, it's true. I've tried to become active on several other gay boards but I just can't find my groove. Sure people may be nice and friendly. But with few exceptions so very little actual information is exchanged. It's mostly light-hearted congratulations, program announcements, or "are you going to the next show" threads. And I find that REALLY boring!

Sure, there may be too much drama here and it can get quite predictable. Lee does press some of our buttons and in response, we become emotional. But where else can you find such a helpful, sincere bunch of REAL webmasters... not just "marketing types"?

I think everyone needs to just calm down and relax

A lot of stuff has been dug up lately and not very nice things exposed. What's done is done. People are aware and that is the goal, nothing else.

PLEASE remember that what is posted on boards is not always everything that one knows, but due to liability issues posts are made with absolute facts you can back up, or you have permission from interested parties to post

Sometimes people you respect don't want their involvement made public and that needs to be honored.

People who are caught out say it's to cause drama and/or hurt someone else, that is not the case. It's to make others in our community aware so they can protect themselves and not be implicated in something they had no idea they were involved with.

Not so pleasant things happen on boards sometimes and that's just a reality.

Summer slowdown is over and we all need to get to work and secure a good few months productivity for an even more successful season this year
