Robin, I am running the final version which was just released this week....are you on a beta or rc version?

Well I've now got the latest version of 7 today and I can still open up both tabs and windows with my right mouse button menu. Moreover it opens up just fine and quick.

I thought is was alright until I found some weird code rendering. I wouldn't have known about the error in the page if I hadn't caught it in IE. Strange huh.
