I don't think it's snobby at all to look after your body and want to look good. Sure everyone eats fast food, and if you say that you don't, you are a dirty dirty fibber. It isn't a multi billion dollar industry because people shy away from it and would rather have a wheat grass protein shake instead of a burger that someone else makes. Or a salad. Or even a soda.

Where do you go after the bar or a night of drinking? Jack in the Box or Trader Joes?

My point exactly! I could have used a less provocative word than "snob" but why should I? Everyone is professing to be such health nuts when I'm pretty sure they are not. I guess it's our tendency to wish we are better than we really are. In my mind... I eat healthy, work out 5 days a week and don't smoke.

And yes, you do have a right to be mad at McDonald's for lying to everyone. But you should also know better. When was the last time ANY corporation told you the truth?

I don't find myself being snobish just because I don't eat at fast foods (really, who eats there ??) It has absolutely nothing to do with being health nuts, but I can't imagine myself eating cheesburgers and fries every day, when on the other hand I just love home cooked meals... adn thankfully I have lots of time to do it...

I always get a kick out of people trying to be "health conscious" and still they go to McD. I saw this one person order two Big Macs, a Supersize Fry, and a Large DIET Coke. Like that one diet thing is gonna negate the whole slew of "food" they just ate.

Anyways, they have actually done the renovations to several McD around here and it's actually pretty nice. This is a college town, though, so all the students are always looking for a place to go study and eat at the same time. Maybe with any luck, it will be a good thing.

BTW Rocky, they are still trying out the JBX in some areas. In Dallas they have a couple and they're ok. I used to work for JIB, so they told me about that stuff and it's a great concept, it just wasn't really implemented very well.

They tried it in San Diego, Ben, but it didn't pan out. The thing about the fancy Jack in the Box is that at least they tried to offer better food. It wasn't the same old dreck that they've been serving forever.

And I would be lying if I said I didn't love McDonald's fries, hee hee.
