I was just wondering if any of you know a easy to use and free Batch Image Resize Program. Its just that I have a lot of pics to adjust and if possible think this might be the best way to go.

This is a full blown image viewer, and it has many nifty image editing options. Freeware (for personal use).
ACDsee from ACD Systems ... it does everything and is very useful!
If you have Photoshop, you can record the resize action once and batch the rest. It literally takes a few minutes and you'll always have it @ your side for future use.

Damn deadlines - sorry for chasing my own post.
Step 6: Instead of Water Mark, simply resize your image - the rest is the same.
Second the motion on ACDC -- a fab program we've been using for years.
You might also want to look into BATCH IT ULTRA -- which is specifically designed for these kinds of jobs.
"Wake up, Norma, you'd be killing yourself to an empty room!"
Arles! It's not free but it is the single best purchase I've ever made. It not only resizes images but it also has extremely flexible gallery creation using custom html templates. It also makes thumbs, watermarks and renames files. I couldn't live without it!
I'll put in my perennial plug for Eyebatch by Atalasoft.com. It's a couple years old and they aren't updating it any more, but it's an amazing program and more flexible with resizing, watermarking, converting from one format to another, and renaming than just about anything else out there.
If you need to resize, modify, watermark, and add the Digimarc adult content watermark, then Thumbs Plus is the way to go. We've switched to that from Eyebatch to get the Digimarc support, and it's probably a little faster, though its renaming abilities aren't as good as Eyebatch.
Thanks guys that’s a wealth of info on all that, I will have to keep a link to all this for the future when I will hopefully have time to compare and try all of them.
