It is really hard to decide what to buy for affiliates for the holidays. Chocolates, wine, popcorn, nuts, cookies? What do you guys want to Christmas?
Thanks,
Mark

Um, absolutely nothing LOL
So long as im being paid on time, what im supposed to be getting paid, thats all im bothered about, anything else, no matter how small is a nice bonus.
Regards,
Lee
I guess whatever sponsors do do, you have to be careful.
Not everyone celebrated christmas.
However im the same as Lee. Long as im getting paid i dont expect anything. I believe christmas gifts should be a 2 way thing anyway. Isnt it called "Exchanging Of Gifts" ?
a card that says "happy holidays" with a personal sig is always nice to receive

Thanks everyone for the input. So if you guys had to choose would you guys prefer holiday bonus days or a gift basket or something? I know everyone here doesn't celebrate the holidays. I am not really religious at all myself but I like to give back to affiliates during the holidays.
Thanks,
Mark

The classiest Christmas gifts I received came from Maleflixxx, who sent a little Godiva Chocolate assortment. I've always thought popcorn was a weird gift... popcorn? Now, on this subject --- first to qualify, I've promoted DirtyBoyVideo for several years. They do well for me as a suggestive sell, and I'm friends with Andy.
BUT --- they sent this nastiest meat log thing last time. *bleh!*
In a tit for tat, I'm considering sending them a Pecan Street Bakery fruitcake. (although theirs aren't bad, especially with coffee)
Stuff from OmahaSteaks is always nice... and getting a frozen package in the mail always creates an impression. Amazon.com has a Gourmet Food store, you might look there for some ideas too.
Just no nasty meat logs!
But to answer your specific question, I think gifts are very nice, and I appreciate the thought whenever receiving them.
Steve
I want JJ from your site, wrapped up in nothing but a red ribbon...
Failing that, I appreciate the thought, but really, I just enjoy working with you guys and thanks for the considerate thoughts. And I agree, if anything, make it a holidays card/gift, because some of us don't actually celebrate Christmas (Hannuka here, for example ).
I did actually think about sending out cards to sponsors, believe it or not, but figured I might get Steve's proverbial fruitcake in return , I doubt that any of the sponsors or even the reps I work with actually know me by name.

Tigermom I wish I could send you JJ but he has decided he is getting married and no more porn for him.

What about Taz? I am sooooooooo in love with him. Such a hot bod...
I wouldnt expect anything. I think your opening a can of worms to be honest. If people started posting that theyd got this or that and you hadnt got anything, wouldnt you be a bit pissed off? Allthough you wouldnt expect anything, if others did and you didnt, you might feel unapreciated? Its abit like saying thankyou to others for all their hard work, but not thanks to you for your hard work (if that makes sense).
sending meat isn't going to do much for any vegetarians who promote your program. chocolate or a gift basket is always a safter bet.
Yeah we got Taz back to do some shoots. He has been our most popular model.
I know I might be opening a can of worms but honestly I was really stuck at what might be nice to send. I was thinking of doing bonus days for everyone and then maybe some gifts so everyone gets a bit of something.
