They have always had a few sets in that price range but, your average TGP webmaster isnt going to spend $50-$150 on a set of content, thats where MaxPixels shone through because by setting the pricing at those levels, they in effect created a kind of 'exclusivity' as to who will and who wont use their content.

A lot of newer webmasters who want everything that they can get for free wont be spending that kind of money on their 'hobby' so the content isnt diluted industry wide.
