Very sad news re: Andy Dill

I thought it would be nice to remind everyone just how sexy Andy was. I was a big fan of his videos. And I remained a fan when he moved behind the camera to work for bearfilms.com. He had other media ventures as well such as http://www.dillmedia.com/ and http://www.redheadguys.com/. He had a great future in this business and any other profession he chose to pursue.

We will miss you Andy.

I'm Andy's neighbor across the street, and I got a call this afternoon from his assistant that he was near death. His parents were coming into town and didn't know he was in the porn business, so we had to move all the Bear Films equipment into my basement before they arrived.

It's been a bad day for several reasons, but I'm really in shock. My boyfriend just saw him shopping in the Castro last week! He only went into the hospital on Friday, and he's already gone.

He really was a wonderful person, and I was really looking forward to working with him on a lot of projects. Damn!

To those who knew Andy in person, I envy you all. I never experienced being with the man. But we talk everyday thru instant messaging...and there only. Even there, I can say that he is one of the few people you can really treasure. The best boss I ever had. Goodbye Sir. It's really been a pleasure working with you.

I worked with Andy/Tim while I was at Adult FriendFinder. I continued to be his friend after we both pursued other ventures in adult. He's one of the smartest people that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. His charm was only matched by his wit.

I had tried to contact him about a licensing deal just the other day. I just assumed that I'd see him in Vegas. ug. It really makes you want to call all your friends, doesn't it?

He will be missed.
