I'm not sure I see the point of wanting to spread out and delay the sales. I'd rather get my revenue as soon as possible, even if it comes in clumps.

Most of the high-traffic link lists approve the sites withing 3 days and list promptly, but some link lists are always 2 to 3 weeks or more behind in their approvals, so new submission traffic does keep trickling in for a few weeks, I find.
