Umm, before anybody gets the wrong idea, that last line wasn't intended as a "stop or we'll sue" threat, just a way of saying "Perhaps repeating gossip isn't such a wise idea, because it can reflect badly on the repeater of the gossip" but I realize in rereading that making that last statement directly after a paragraph about suing people makes it sound like a veiled threat, which it is not.
