It is how these things work, at least i find it that way. Unless they look really young like mike 18. Then you have a problem whatever you say.

What about a disclaimer that says at the bottom of every page (the words teen and boy in the title or text where only intend to determine sex and ALL models are 18+) or something like that. Yes I know its a long shot but he got me thinking about that again.

Ya I am going to try to watch it more when I name them, and not send JUB some when I know they will not take it. Its new, but I am sure soon I will work everything out and it will work smooth on both ends. :juggle:

Well I was thinking about putting the disclaimer on every page at the bottom next to the 2257. I could add that some times to the description but not sure that would help much and I hate having to do the same thing in to may of my sites description just takes away from them.

    Max,

We've been over all this ground before, but I'll try again to perhaps help you see it from the perspective of the people making the decisions about such things, since we (Gaybucks) are in that same space and confront the same issues.

What the people like processors, Visa, major traffic sites like JUB, etc are looking at is the *overall impression* the site gives off.

To give an extreme example, if you have pictures of guys who already look like they're on the edge agewise, wearing Boy Scout outfits, standing in front of a school bus, it won't matter if you have "EVERYONE ON THE SITE IS 18+" in bold letters at the bottom of every page, because any reasonable person will conclude that you are trying to imply that the guys are underage even if, in fact, all of the documentation is in order.

In the current climate, given the Justin Berry thing, the Brent Corrigan issue, and the Bush administrations focus on obscenity and CP, any responsible organization is going to shy away from anything that looks questionable.

Same situation with Mike18. It says all over the site "THESE GUYS ARE 18 AND IF YOU WANT CP, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE" but that's a wink-and-nod disclaimer, because anyone with a brain can tell that some of those guys clearly have faked documents. That is why so many affiliates, link lists, TGPs, etc. won't accept their site for promotion.

We run fairly close to the line with Boyfunk in terms of the language we use, but we've thought it out very carefully and haven't had any problems. Even so, we are going to soften some of the language we're using on the next version of the tour because, in this environment, we just aren't comfortable with the idea that anyone could infer that our models are under age.

I know that you (correctly) believe that if you can imply the guys are underage or very close to underage that you will increase conversions, but I really don't think it's in the best interest of your business to market that way. Practically speaking, it will more likely make you a magnet for the Feds, and from an ethical perspective, promoting near-CP to an audience of porn buyers is just not a wise idea if you give a shit at all about the safety of kids.

I believe that you can mostly have your cake and eat it too. Choose a middle ground in your language that doesn't imply underage, let the youthful appearance of the models speak for itself, include plenty of disclaimers that your models are over 18, and people shouldn't object.

I am used to this for members sites and the banks, but these are free feeder sites we are talking about. They are basically disposable, and I have to make god knows how many a year. I will play the game the way they need me too, but the net is a big place (not really) and this is a isolated issue.

When you think about it the 450+ clicks are cool, but the words Boys, Teen, Teen Boys, ECT sell better and get more traffic other places maybe even 15-20% so this is a compromise I guess more than anything. I am sure I will work things out this is not a big problem, I have many sets of guy that do not look 17ish. I also make many site that do not use those words because hell I can not call every site (Teen Boy Virgins Violated) LOL
