Program Owners - What Methods Of In-House Traffic Generation Are You Using Right Now?

why use affiliates in the normal sense anyways ? why not just go out and make a deal with 5-8 big traffic producers that can deliver a steady flow of quality and leave it at that ?

anyone tried this and if so what where your results ?

Talk about a flash in the pan site, if your only support can set around your breakfast table that would not make me sleep to well at night. Yes this works for Broke Str8 Boys now and others in the past but I am sure (big traffic producers) look at the numbers every month and really hard before sending so much traffic to start with. Can you just imagine even if they want to work with you how fast they can decide their traffic might convert 15% better across the street. :scissors:

I like the idea and it comes close to corbin fisher where you have to state why they should accept you as a webmaster

well depending on how they word it on their site i can see how it can be seen as being an ego thing, on the other hand i can follow what you are saying too.. they are just trying to protect their brand by not allowing everyone and their godmother to advertise their product..

Not only that, but I am sure people with huge amounts of good traffic are going to want programs that have proven themselves at least too some degree, in the “real” world not just some lap dog for them to play with then they are bored.

The best way I know to prove your program is worth more than a passing listing is to insure even a first time webmaster could convert it. If you really have the numbers why would you want to limit traffic? :jerkoff:

The people with the traffic dont care about whether a program has 'proven' itself, they care about how much $$$ they are getting paid, period.

If someone offers them $75 per signup, all of their traffic will switch to that sponsor, if someone offers them $100 per signup, the traffic will suddenly switch to that sponsor.

Is this what’s really going on? I know at some level its like this, but some of the most popular sites I see getting traffic like Broke Str8 Boys only offer 35$ PPS but they have really good numbers. Are the bigger sites offering more money to like JUB and other guys to run their sites? Or is it really just about retention, conversion numbers, and all that stuff.

Personally I think they makes some of these 75$ PPS sites so crappy to only get first time viewers to join.

They only offer YOU $35 PPS.

Just like on Condom Cash i only offer revshare.

The people with the traffic (and sales) get paid more, so they keep sending traffic/sales.

So I guess you could say when programs offer 75$ and 100$ PPS they are just offering the same deal everyone else give the whales to use a gaming term.

If this is true we are really bleeding the industry faster than I thought.

We do about 70% from affiliates. The rest is from our in-house gall submissions and from the gay catagories of our mgp's.

what i ment is that you buy the traffic at a fixed amount per k and pay no matter how it converts.. getting it to convert is your problem etc.. ofcause this means that you have to trust the people selling you traffic etc as it would be an easy fraud otherwise ...

kind of like buying a banner spot for x amount of money per month, here you are just buying a fixed amount of traffic from any link / banner or popup they have etc...

People with traffic also consider programs that convert well and don't shave, in conjunction with the payout amount.

I know lots of sites with traffic that shy away from programs with high payouts because they know those programs shave :pimp:

Well their is a problem with that too, where are you going to buy traffic worth a crap? Do you not think the people that have the traffic know what it’s worth already? Why would they sell it to you, so you make cut them out of 60% of the profit or something.

If you find someone with convertible traffic that can give more than single digit return at the best PLEASE let me know. :heart: :heart:
