I have never been a Britney fan, but I feel for her

When you are a multi million dollar superstar you are expected to have professional people around you to protect your interest. I'm not sure what failed here, but she definately is NOT taken care of by the people making money off of her, not good, for all involved.

What are your thoughts?

I agree, she is surrounded by yes people, and she doesn't know how to handle or work the media. Though I do think, most of what she does is totally exagerated by them, I think it has gotten to her. Hopefully her cry for help in recent days, has been heard, and someone will get her the help that she needs.

I read somewhere that there was a post from her personal assistant on Britney's site somewhere to the effect that everyone around her (Britney) was deeply concerned about her actions and behaviors in recent days and they were doing everything possible to help her get back on the right track.

Also, supposedly Britney flew to Antigua to check into Crossroads, a rehab facility founded by Eric Clapton, but left after a day. This was denied by her publicist, but confirmed by someone at her record company, so maybe there's a bigger problem here.

I feel ill knowing people would even think about paying that much for somebody elses hair, or anyones hair for that matter.

Some people get so star struck and forget that people like Britney are the same as everyone else. Their shit stinks to.

Yeah, that statement was posted on Britney's site, something to the effect of "Britney has closed herself off from myself and her family, and we are very concerned for her." I'm not sure if it's still on the site or not.

That's what someone told me anyway. I really don't follow Britney. I have never felt anything but indifference toward her. She's never had anything of particular relevance or importance to say. She was just some girl with a good body flashing her tits and thinking she was making a statement about feminism. But as much as she claims that she was influenced by Madonna, she never understood that with Madonna, there was a sense of irony and a very precise plan that was being acted out. I don't think Britney ever gave any thought to what she was doing, other than, "Oh, wouldn't it be cool for me to dance with a snake in a sexy outfit on MTV?"

Can't stand her music, either.

But... you gotta feel for her. She was thrust into the spotlight at such an early age, and she's never had an opportunity to live out an adolescence. She did stupid things like get married too young, have kids too young, and now she's going through her adolescence and her wild years in the public spotlight, and it's really sad. Especially for her kids.
