No, its because Max hasnt broken any rules.

I have made it perfectly clear to people, when he breaks a rule, he's gone.

Good Decision Lee, a timeout is a good solution imho. As for Max, yeah he's an annoyance, spouts off a lot of garbage, hijacks threads, and make comments that are and can be taken as rude and off the wall, however... he does not deliberately make direct mean spirited personal attacks.

I am rather glad Lee didn't ban Max and as he's pointed out, hasn't banned Squirt either. He has given him a timeout like anyone would do to their own wayward child who simply had a bad cranky day.

Considering how the attack was made, it was a good decision and instead of blasting Lee for attempting to maintain order, and instead of defending rude behaviour from one who started the Brittany Spears bullshit thread, Lee should be commended for taking a potentially explosive and unnecessary drama off the boards for the parties to cool off.

Actually Lee did give Max time out a while ago. I cant remember when it happened or even why but im sure it did.

Squirt does this time an time again. Many of us have had our share. If he doesnt like you he tells lies, post rubbish and seeks out reasons to be nasty and vicous. Hes a troll. Max is 100% annoying but even he doesnt behave that way.

Well all i can say is thank god Squirt isnt attacking me for once. Sorry to the parties hes moved on to, but he should move on again soon and leave you be as he did with me.

And all this stuff about Max. This might not be the best threat to talk about it, however i just have one quick comment.

I dont know Max at all. Never directly spoken to him as far as i know. I read all the posts he makes and for some reason i dont have the reaction a lot of you do. Take a step back, read his posts again, and even if it does contain a little insanity you WILL see the reason behind his rants.

And in regard to AVN, a clear envelope would make me blink a few times. If i lived in Texas, id be looking for a new place :hmm:

Ive had trouble with previous neighbours (mainly kids) finding out im gay. If they found i was gay and doing adult that would give them alot of fun. Im not ashamed of either but i dont want it broadcast to the world.

agreed! , i believe some "post-material" should be wrapped (interpreted: one of the main reason's i buy off the newsrack cause i'm afraid my gay mail carrier will snag my monthly copies!) i use to cringe everytime i recieved "muscle media" in the mail with some hot guy half-naked on the cover in plain view (i do adult , go figure!) and that's not even an adult magazine. (playgirl /advocate men/honcho/playboy/penthouse/hustler all come wrapped...i've checked!)
in regards to maxpower , i find he "stimulates" conversation (interpreted: there are those who say the glass is half-empty , there are those that say half-full , and then there are those that say why put water in a glass anyways?) and although i may not "get-him" immediately (interpreted: some of his points need to "evolve" , isn't that what being here is all about? , discussing ideas?) i don't think he should be banned.
in regards to everyone else here , there is really no one here i hate (hate is such a strong word as usually consumes the person feeling it! , do you really have time for it?) there are a couple i find quite "disrespectful" , but it has always been my choice to either work with you , through you , or completely around you. (interpreted: you have not met me so people are often afraid of what they do not understand , i will forgive you!..."go with gay my bitch!"...) :fool:

Here is the response I got from our printer:

We did have an isolated instance with the international remailer we use where a clear poly was mistakenly used in the Jan AVN issue.

Our standard operating procedure is, and will continue to be, that all AVN titles are to be mailed in opaque polybags. Checks are in place so that it should not happen again.

Our apologies for this mishap and any inconvenience it may have caused our subscribers.

Never let it be said that we don't take care of business over here.

I'd say this post is a form of attacking another member, just as Squirt's over-the-top post to Michael was the same. It's just posted in a different manner. Really, we shouldn't be calling each other trolls and making accusations about them when they aren't even here to defend themselves. That's just plain common, IMHO.

However, thanx, Squirt, for taking up for AVN, even if you did get a little out of hand in doing so. Hope you're feeling better these days.
