I think those names are good. I'm not really certain that there would be that much confusion with the other site, but I don't really know all of the legalities of involved.

I would go for allboylinks.com it is easier to remember than any of the other names.

Well, before I opened the thread I thought it was about a link site of JUB because of the thread title. Justboyslinks also has an 's' too much for my feeling. It's sounds a bit odd, but then, english is not my mother tongue.

Gaylinkboys doesn't sound good to me as well, so it leaves Allboylinks. On this I'm not so sure, but I guess it could be good for me if you use it. ;-)

Allboylinks would also potentially infringe on Alllboy Magazine (which also has a membership website, part of the badpuppy network) and on Allboys Video, which I believe is run by D&E. Granted, you're talking about relatively generic words so it probably wouldn't be something that they could take to court, but I'd take the approach of asking each party if they object.

i doubt the name of the site is all that important. some of the biggest link lists and tgps around don't use the words porn, sex or any keywords. persiankitty, thehun, al4a and shemp come to mind - not a keyword anywhere, yet these are some of the most successful sites around.

just update very regularly and you'll develop your own bookmarkers. beside paysite listings, add daily updates of free and avs sites or a daily site review or 2 and you'll get regular returnees.

jesus, come on guys..

if you had to ask everyone that has a domain that is "like" the one you where thinking about using you wouldnt really have much time building sites.. too few domains would be left...

when you have a domain like allboys.com or justusboys.com you have to accept that people will make on domains using some or all of the words you use.. if you owned adultlinks.com would you ask the owners of adult.com if it was ok with them to use adultlinks.com ? i dont think so - same deal..

i can see the problem if he was making justusboyz.com into a linklist but justboyslinks ? come on...

allboylinks.com and justboylinks.com are good domains, imo gaylinkboys.com isnt that hot..

OMG I give up! If they don’t like it I am sure their will be other sites they will need to go after first, to tell the truth I never heard of them. The fact you keep up with badpuppy network sites is cool though man

Right now all I can do it throw like 500 free site links I have created in them, but think I should at least start running them, and this will give more permanent traffic back to the LL that list me. Not sure I will have the time to update it to often as of yet, but I do want to create a few different types of LL with all 3 I guess, and for sure the best 2. Simple is the name of the game with these sites, why I like the words “just” and “all” because really the LL will just be LINKS no banners ECT.

Ya seems that way, I did not think that name was all that bad, but I guess it should be at the bottom of the list now.

Actually, Rudy and Nye, who publish Allboy magazine, are friends. I doubt either Allboy, D&E or JUB would really have a problem, just out of courtesy it might be nice to ask them.

I am glad I posted them I guess really my intent was not to steal traffic, but I am open to talk about it. Seems to me the people at JUB could care less about this URL, or do not care enough to bitch much. I will say NOW is a really good time to speak up, before I really start to open them. Not that I am having delusions of grandeur here, and think these will really interfere with anyone’s sites, but I do hope to create some traffic pools. :juggle:

I'm sitting here chuckling after reading this thread. I have owned Nakedfrathouse.com for many years and discovered Fratmen only after i had begun selling. about a year later somebody launched fraternityguys as a live webcam site. now fratmen has launched fratpad--another webcam site!

You can only do so much. It's frustrating when you have a great domain that really works and somebody else uses something similar. But really, how many "hot" names and keywords are left?
