However, as of March 2, when I redesigned, refocused, and relaunched the site, I'm only reviewing site in the "real man" market, i.e. hairy men, older men, bears, leather men, blue collar, muscle men, and fetish.

I have heard some webmasters accuse the larger review sites of "stealing" sales. The idea is that the surfer sees the site for the first time on one webmaster's site/freesite/blog whatever, then decides to check a good review site before buying. He gets to the review sites, get re-cookied and the review site gets the sale.

I guess that means that review sites are indeed more credible, and thus get much better conversions. As a paysite owner, by all means, definitely get reviews out there, but I would consider focusing on the big review sites, the ones with more traffic and more credibility (i.e. reputation/branding).

at least when i write the reviews, i always include positive aspects of even the worst site. there's only ever been one site i had nothing good to say about - and it didn't allow members to access the content at all **

notice they include the good with the bad. so if someone is looking for something new or something in that niche, they know exactly what they're getting. and telling the surfers exactly what they're getting sells better than anything else i've ever tried.

Maybe the surfers liked the honesty? Why do you think that was Bass? Id be interested in your views.

yeah well, since posting here a few days ago, we're rocketing to success with all of the very positive reviews we have been getting re: our new site barebackMasters - and we're not even bribing anyone!

I think at last count, we've probably submitted to only 20 or so to date

today's review at http://gaywebsitereviews.com/ - totally rocks and is completely honest - hitting us over the head with the whole bareback issue and in our favor - I appreciate the honesty of the review....
