Buying Traffic can be very hit and miss. I have had really great results, and really bad results. The most important thing is where the traffic is coming from and how qualified it is...Some traffic brokers claim they have loads of traffic, and they very well may, but is it traffic that will convert? That's what you have to find out for yourself.
I've done a lot of trial and error with my sites & traffic sources. For example most most popular site will convert 1:86 with a great qualified traffic source, but the exact same site receiveing traffic from a different location that is not quality, will convert 1:534.
My advise would be to look up SEO traffic brokers like Traffic Dude, or Express Submit. Both have great search engine traffic. Althought it's all CPC (Cost per click), so I dont know if that's what you want. You'll have to pay a higher rate to get the popular search key words.
Another option is buying flat rate traffic/banner space...Also can be very good if your site converts. But if it doesnt then you paid for a crummy spot.
