I think the tour gives a good representation of the site and its features. However, users may not be interested in how the site ACTUALLY looks and functions, and may react more favorably to a tour that is more "designed".

How was the previous tour different? Did you just change the images or did you change the whole method of presentation? If you describe what the old tour was like, it might be easier to identify what's missing in the new tour.
