I did fight it.
OH we actually got divorced, we're actually really good friends! and we get along great.

Thank you for the compliments. My son will be 5 this year.
We had a really long hard fight, but it was worth it.

It happens, like i said our divorce was NOTHING like the rest of the worlds.
It's funny beacuse, we're still very familly oriented.

I guess it just works better for us this way.

not to be flippant about yr situation but there's an easier solution for u than fighting a losing battle with uncle sam.

move to canada. gay marriage is legal - with all the rights and responsibilities that that implies.... including immigration rights.

It would be so cool just to pick up and move 800 miles to be with Eric but it just doesn't happen over night. The first thing is I can only stay for 180 days. I'm over the age that Canada wants,plus I don't have the skills that they are looking for. Teaching,forestry,engining, also I would have to find a company that is willing to hire me to get a work permit.

So the game play is, I'm going to be moving down to Florida the cost of living is cheaper their I can cut living expenses by 1/4. If the Uniting Families act isn't passed by the time he finishes his college, he will apply to become a Canadian and then he will bring me in.

We do plan on getting married in July it's to bad that it can't be in the USA but with the backward government that we have is keeping couples like myself apart.
