Racism In Porn? Why Is It Accepted?

So im wondering why the industry actually 'stands' for programs that launch sites with words like 'niggers' 'pakis' etc in the site names, especially moreso on the straight side of things, are we really not concerned about the words we use when it comes to building sites that we totally overlook the fact that these sort of words are insitefull?

I mean seriously, why?

Not just racist type words either, slut, whore, cunts, bitches, etc are commonly used for straight sites.

Have we really hit a stage in the industry where even the simplest thing has been overlooked in order to turn a profit?

I couldnt imagine anyone actually going to some guy in the street and calling him a '****** fag' and not expect to have their lights punched out, why should 'online' be any different?

It is alarming but that is the straight world for you. You just won't find words used like that on gay-owned sites. But I sometimes wonder if staright words like 'whore' aren't used in a similar fashion as 'pig'. Who's to say that a sex-positive woman doesn't like to be called a whore during the heat of passion?

How are things offensive if they turn you on? If a white guy or a black guy wants to look at interacial porn that uses a lot of racial slurs, either one is doing it because it turns him on. There might be something taboo about it, and that might be why it's turning them on. Perhaps a big black successful upper level manager wants to fantasize that he's a "****** banging insatiable white sluts who can't get enough of his huge black cock" (improvisational porn writing right there). When it comes to sex political correctness societies rules just don't matter. If people adhered the rules of society rather than what turned them on, every gay guy here would be married to a woman right now. We see porn as public, but a lot of people view it in the utmost privacy. For them it isn't public property, they view it in the privacy of their own home and don't care what people think. Anyway, nothing turns people on like taboo.

I have always thought the the most homophobic people were often the most gay. (Look at Ted Haggard, et all.) Perhpas those that are vocal racists (like SOME skinheads, KKK, etc.) are actually attracted to what they rally against, and it is that fear that makes them act out. Interesting thread - I'll throw in my two cents:

1st, although our site features primarily white guys, one of our first models was black and didn't hurt us one bit, in fact we have gotten requests for more of him and will probably be filming him again soon.

2nd, I am shocked at the number of white models for whom on of the first words out of their mouth is that they won't perform with a black person.

3rd, I was actually told by an "industry" person that we should have a new black guy at least once every 6 months to not be considered racist.

4th, we have had several hispanic models, although they have all been white. One member actually emailed me questioning whether one model was hispanic because he didn't "look hispanic." Funny thing is, this same model had been sprayed down with brown by another studio to "look more hispanic" for the shoot.

Yes that sentence saying "Porn is the last place I'd expect people to racism and degradation. I'm shocked" was complete sarcasm It's interesting the number of sites catering to degradation. There must be a lot of closet case S&M people out there.
