Oprah has just taken on a similar topic regarding Hip Hop and the whole bitches and ho's thing.

I remember seeing one site that said "These girls are dumb as a rock," which isn't the worse thing you could say, I suppose, but it just seemed unnecessarily demeaning.

The only way it'll change is by people speaking out. Maybe GWW should have a stupid site of the week thread that gets stickied to the top. Things certainly won't change unless people speak out.

You'll always have people with poor judgement doing this kind of stuff. Who knows how the best way to handle it is. I always think "Geez ... ccbill/Epoch appoved this? Or, VISA approved this? Or, webmasters promote this?"
