home made - man made - come on by for a slice of the best PonyBoy...

thing is, we just spent the day in the car doing our rounds and doing the valley - it always takes forever and the freeways are packed with one person drivers (not paying attention because their all ON THE PHONE) - but we tend to be among the few dual cars and eligible for the commuter lanes -

I nearly puked while stopped at a light and watching a brand new cadillac escalade get full service at $4.15/gallon (two guys sprawled all over the car cleaning and wiping and filling) while two of the hugest and largest pigs stuffed their faces with fast food throwing the wrappers out the fricken windows!)

where is the fuckin' country heading?

I wish I could come out there and break bread with you! I love home baked bread, when i ran a food service company I used to love to roll it out, watch it raise and then see it turn golden brown!

Try a few hours on the 495, thats the long island express way, 2 mph if you are lucky! I don't understand it because there are trains that go into the city just about every 15 minutes during rush hour.

Got to love the people that can afford to fill up a giant SUV

Gas Up 26 Cents This Month So Far

NEW YORK (AP) -- Gasoline prices set more records at the pump Friday, while gasoline and oil futures prices turned mixed after the previous session's big advance.

Retail gasoline prices rose 1.5 cents overnight to a national average price of $3.129 per gallon, a new high, and have risen 26 cents in the last month, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.

Analysts blame strong consumer demand and a spate of unexpected refinery outages for the high prices, and say it could be mid-summer before they ease.
