Maybe this is a little crass, but AJ and I have both always viewed what we do as a business... it really doesn't matter if it's straight porn, gay porn, or even commercial video that isn't porn at all, our goal has been to produce a great product that people like and want to buy, rather than something that's personally exciting to either of us.
Now, that said, we are very proactive in soliciting input from our customers and producing the kind of content they are asking us to see, and we try to pay attention to technical quality and pacing and other things that make the scenes interesting and enjoyable and exciting to watch... but neither of us are particularly into twinks, and so the content we shoot isn't exactly stroke material for either of us.
In other words, I think it's quite possible to produce a great product that people enjoy and not be personally "turned on" by it... and I do think that working with *any* content day in and day out tends to desensitize one to it, I've had that conversation with all of our employees that have worked with content and all have said that their attitude toward porn has changed considerably since they started working with us.
