The whole terrorist thing starts to wear off. They've certainly overdone it by now. And it simply showed their real intention to control people and limit freedom.
Fighting criminals means quiet, honest and thorough work in the background (granted, sometimes you have to put up a mugshot), not running around and scaring people to create a climate of fear so you can push through laws to cut down people's rights.
Positive thing is that after so many years people seem to wake up finally.
