Which is your account? or Website that you work with so I can get this taken care of a little more quickly. It could be your rep is out of the office today by chance.

    Thanks

Since you spelled "check" the wrong way, me thinks you are not USofA and International exchange is iffy at best.

I think you should have worked through the situation before posting.

AEBN is an awesome company, all cash and no BS, unlike several other wannabees.

Clearing checks internationally is a PAIN IN THE ASS. It takes my bank at least 3 weeks plus they charge me $35 to deposit a euro-denominated EU check. They treat it like it was forged -- they even put it into a little envelope all by itself and send it off to some special place where I am convinced spells are cast and fingerprints are dusted to ensure the validity of a bank check drawn on the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Just to be the Devil's Advocate [and as a porn lawyer I have really earned THAT title] his spelling of cheque is not wrong -- just different than US English. The Brits think we spell it wrong in America :-) plus they think we say "aluminum" wrong [they say al - you - min -ee -um when we say ah- loom- in- um ]
    Not wrong, just different.

actually i spelled cheque correctly. i can't help that americans can't speak or write the Queen's English to save their lives.

and aebn does seem to be dealing with it BUT i think i had every right to post before the issue was resolved. i didn't bad mouth aebn. i just stated a fact and asked if the situation had arisen for anyone else. why should i sit alone in the dark?

to me this is what boards are for. to find out if anyone else is having the same problem.

    stuff happens

my old company always spoke very highly of AEBN, I plan to send them my titles to distribute as they begin to role out next month. The fact that Chris is addressing it so quickly seemed to bode well, good luck !

I agree 100%. That is EXACTLY what these boards are for. No one badmouthed AEBN...and they have the same opportunity to respond as he did to post. A little over a year ago I also had a check come back to me "bounced" from a major 'player' (Not AEBN). My bank had submitted it twice, and then returned it to me. I contacted my rep, they told me there was "no way that could happen", so I re-deposited it to my bank. It cleared right away on the third time.

My mom works in a bank, and stuff just happens all the time. I doubt that everyone elses AEBN check would clear and yours would bounce...so I am guessing that it is a glitch or error somewhere in the system.

But you are right...the boards are the perfect place to post something like this. What if all of a sudden 400 other people said "my check bounced too!"...then you would know you were FUCKED....

But in this case...it looks like it is an error.

God Save the Queen...and her dogs.

Well I could not disagree more with this statement.
A blanket statement like that one in the beginning of this tread is the kind of thing that starts a RUN ON THE BANK.
It sound like he did not get in touch with AEBN first to resolve this , or at least did not wait to get a response before posting.
How many calls and e mails from worried people do you think AEBN got from this post?
Sure if you get a run around or something, but to send up RED flags before trying to work it out privately first... Well thats just not right.
Sorry guys , but this was SHOCK VALUE.

I agree on your this issue, however I have had different experiences with different banks. Some banks buy them with the notice that they will dip into my account in case the check bounces. Others, send it for collection with 3-8 weeks of wait.

Guess which bank I'm doing business with now
