I still use the PC for the bulk of my activities but the MAC is good for video and the personal toys.
Once I get into more MAC-ish tools, I'll get into the MAC a little more.
But other than that, I like it a lot!
like this?

ok, that is flat out cool.
All I can offer is:
I have yet to find a math or reading center around here ... but once I do.
It would help a bit if I knew more of just what sort of lesbian site you're wanting to do, the focus, content and so on. Womyn usage spelling is for the die-hard dyke wanting to be "politically correct". What/who is the 'voice' of the site you're building? It rather depends on the site personna as to what form of spelling you'd use for woman vs womyn.
Soft colors can work, peaches, yellows, tans, maybe a touch of lavendar or a lavendarish pink.2: Would soft colors (not pinks) lean more to the fem and leave out the butch?
Most of them were! :innocent:3: Is design out of the question in Lesbian sites? (example: www.lesbian.com or 90% of the lesbian sites around) not to sound like an ass but from looking around at lesbian (mainstream and personal) sites, they seem to be lacking in any form of design as a whole. And the design I do see, looks like it was built through the AOL online wysiwyg editor.
... or the free version of netscape composer or frontpage. My first one was with Netscape's composer ... and it served it's purpose until I could afford a program like Dreamweaver to build my pages with.
I'll get back to you on this, need to dig up some.4: Do you have any links that would help dispel this lack of design myth?
While there are lesbian women involved in marketing gay sex sites ... our numbers aren't huge, and many of them have indeed posted on GWW. As for lesbian women who produce lesbian porn FOR lesbians ... that is a comparatively small group in a very large pornographic industry.5: WHY THE FUCK DON'T WE HAVE MORE LESBIAN SITE OWNERS ON GWW! Is "gay" no longer the catchall for "Same Sex"
I'm still frustrated at the lack of any sense of industry know-how amongst lesbian site owners. I'm constantly approached about "trading links" with commercial sites owned by other lesbians (ebooks, dating sites, toy sites, and so on) ... and they have zilch in place for affiliate promotion. It's all about, I'm a lesbian and you're one, and we both have sites, so let's trade links. And I dutifully reply: when you get an affiliate program setup, I'll be delighted to signup and promote you. And not one has yet to do so.
There also seems to be a lack of lesbian geeks who have a clue about scripts, dynamic site functionality and design. I know of one lesbian site that had an ad up for months and months looking for someone that could do the coding they needed done.
That's why you see so many using the old gimmiky javascripts for falling snow and page transitions and so on. I have to admit, my first site did (and still does) have a lot of those onboard. But I also intend a total revamp at some point to bring it into the age of cms, css, feeds with dynamic content and other user/member interaction features.
I am guessing that your camera goes everywhere with you...

Um ... Doesn't yours? As well as, A video Camera.
The news paper pays up to 25K based on the photo and it's use. photo houses pay up to 50K (you could get more but it's better to just sell it to a broker) and for video, you can get up to 20K per play per channel.
Mind you, these are ballpark and listed as "up to" meaning you could get $1.00
