To make money but without working?

I mean you listen to many of the new breed, and you see nothing but dollar signs with each post they make, and ethics, well, they can't spell the word, never mind comprehend the meaning, so do you change with the times too?

Did you enter the business with a vision and stay true to it, or did you allow yourself to be compromised?

I know many will say they sort of just fell into being a webmaster, but you know, I don't really think one just falls into a job, or profession like this. Specially given all the risks involved, both legal and family wise, so why did you become a webmaster? What was that one defining moment, that made you say... 'I wanna do that'? :innocent:

For me i actually got started because i was bored after i sold my first online business and i literally just stumbled in to adult one day.

It started as a hobby of sorts then i saw how much $$$ could be made and my goal was to setup a viable adult business and the rest is history

Due to physical limitations and needing something I could do from home, a friend of mine who was laid off suggested we try adult - I'd do the designs, she'd handle the marketing. That lasted til she went back to work and I ended up handling everything.

I got into the industry because I like working in an atmosphere where I don't have to wear a uniform, I can have tattoos and piercings if I want and I can pretty much talk about anything and won't offend anyone. It's really hard when you go to work and can't even tell coworkers about your date last night or some dungeon party you went to over the weekend. However, things have changed. At one time I saw this industry as just a job I could enjoy, now I feel like this is a career. I really care about the company I work for and really feel like I'm working towards something, rather than it just being a paycheck.

I bought the domain "teenboys.de" on ebay and just let it be - no marketing whatsoever for like 2 yrs.

During that time I read a lot in forums and I saw what lies behind a pornsite - its not just pics and videos, but servers, software, scripts, marketing - all that jazz ...
... thats what caught my attention - I love HIGH tech and porn is HIGHER Tech. It triggers my mind, gets me thinking on how to do stuff, what script to write to ease my fuck lazy butt in marketing. Jockusa.com HAS an admin area for the tedious shit, is template driven and has a DB-Backend along with mod_rewrite.

I LOVE having the time to dink with code AND be able to pay the bills, love to be able to talk about all sorts of things with people from around the globe. I love the many facetts of the biz, though I hate to do it all by myself and alone at home - I miss my collegues at work...
