You might try logging into the router control panel and restarting the router or restoring the defaults from there. Something may have gotten screwed up in those settings.

Well, I have unplugged the modem and the router and waited a couple minutes and then restarted them. I'll check and see if the router has some sort of reset button.

Just an update ...

I turned off the router completely for well over 12 hours ... hooked it all back up, and it fixed itself. So maybe it was a merc in retro playing havoc, as I had turned off the router for a few minutes before even starting this thread.
