Appraising Brent Corrigan

To play devil's advocate, don't they have age rules because people under 18 don't always make the wisest life choices.
Of course studies have show that people's brains are still adolescent into the early 20's, but the law compromised because conservatives wanted to marry kids off young. I like that the Chinese government doesn't allow marriage before 25. But I'm derailing my own topic.
I'm just wondering on the appeal of Brent Corrigan, beyond the hype.

They do however, ask yourself, do you want your company associated with someone who appeared in underage porn films?

Thats the bottom line here, its your companies reputation on the line, whats that worth in terms of possible revenue?

It's your choice, and it sounds like you've already made up your mind (I always wonder why people post and ask for input if they've already made a decision) but I would be extremely careful.

As far as I've ever read, Brent/Sean has never had a positive business experience with anyone he's ever done business with. This includes his business partner at BCO, Falcon, Cobra, and various other people he's worked with or attempted to work with. The other issue is his boyfriend is reputed to be very, very difficult to work with, and he apparently involves himself into everything, and not in a positive way. And, to hear him tell it, it's always the other party's fault.

Brent had some appeal 4 years ago, but he's never been anything particularly special as far as a porn model. Perhaps when he looked (and was) underage, he sold for that reason (and the then-strength of the Cobra brand probably did more than he did to sell the titles that made him popular)... but that was almost 4 years ago. Sammy Case, for example, was much, much bigger than Brent ever has been, and his product continues to sell well even though he's been heavily overexposed.

Oh, and then there's the question of any involvement with the Bryan Kocis murder. There are a lot of allegations flying, at least some shred of truth (why would he have insisted on immunity from prosecution if he was completely innocent?) and honestly, it's not something I'd want to get within 10 miles of.

If he's just signing up as an affiliate, then there's no harm. But I'd be very, very careful about doing any sort of cooperative business deal.

Lee, that is fantastic. I did ask myself that, and the answer was, "I don't know." So I thought "Who would know?" I checked some associates. Then I thought, "I'll check the gay webmaster boards, they'll know!" Here I am, being asked that same question.

Still, wouldn't some call yours a "blame the victim" mentality. I guess I didn't see him as a criminal.

Chip, we don't produce porn at Boyzshop.com. We retail. I'd like to provide tools to help a guy out. We can distribute a product. It's not a high risk position to put oneself in. However, I really appreciate your concern and advice. You are right about his past business experiences. We're not looking to hitch our wagon to his name. We're looking to give him a boost using the mighty power of Boyzshop.com. If he can take that and rebuild his empire starting as a Boyzshop.com affiliate, then good for him. If he can't capitalize, we won't crumble because a product didn't sell.
Your appraisal of his present day value was just what I was looking for. I'll be careful.

Maybe even Brent, although we'd never shoot him for Fratmen.

He DOES, however, have a history of screwing things up royally and then blaming everyone around him.. in a very public way.

Then again.. like it or not, he's a got a fan base that's in love with him.

I have met Brent Corrigan. When I met him I got the vibes that he's a 2-faced deceiving little prick!

I knew Bryan Kocis (Cobra Video). Bryan bent over backwards for Brent. Bryan gave that boy things nobody had ever gave him. Bryan spent money on him, took him shopping, nearly or did buy him a brand new car. Bryan treated him good.

When I found out that Bryan Kocis had been murdered (Keep in mind I'm only a couple hours from where Bryan Kocis lived). Anyways, when Bryan Kocis was murdered... I called the police of Dallas Township, PA. I asked them if there was anything that I could do to help and that I knew Bryan. We spoke for hours on the phone. Then I drove 4.5 hours the following Saturday and spent my entire Saturday with a detective and a cop.

These guys were blind walking into this investigation. They had no clue where to start. I aided them.

Bryan never deserved to be murdered. Ya, maybe he did like his guys young or his flings young. But Brent Corrigan allowed Bryan and wanted Bryan to have sex with him. It says it right on his blog at BrentCorriganOnline.com that he and Bryan were in a sexual (boyfriends) relationship.

And I know damn well that Brent had something to do in the murder of Bryan Kocis. Don't tell me he wasn't because if he wasn't how did the 2 guys from Virginia get his address??? His 2257 Statement is NOT his address. I know he aided in the murder! It may not be revealed today, it may not be revealed tomorow. But it will come out into the light.

Brent Corrigan is a deceatful, back stabbing, 2-faced, lying prick!
