Whether you believe that condemnation or forgiveness is the answer for the Brent Corrigan case, he was rewarded, and apparently tried to use the being under 18 thing as leverage to break out of contracts (I don't know details on that or how it worked out). The moral of this story doesn't exactly provide a strong deterrent to others thinking of sneaking into porn early.
Of course, it doesn't look like he's effectively capitalized on all of his fame. For all that brand equity, he's blogging about getting a job in retail. If he's as manipulative and undeserving as you say, he's been torpedoed by karma.
I wasn't looking to buy content so much as move product. While that seems a far less risky position, apparently it's not without its hazards. What with all the murder and deception, any deals would need far more due diligence than most.
