If you know the registrar who has the name that's dropping, and that registrar has their own drop service, it's always best to sign up with them. Otherwise, I've had really good luck with SnapNames. They have a deal with several of the larger registrars (including Network Solutions) and so are often better able to catch dropping names than anyone else.
