I read Merv's autobiography and without really saying anything, he described his whole coming out. One day as a happily married family man in New York he got in the car and just started driving to "do some thinking". Next thing he knew, he was in LA, rented an apartment, and never turned back. It's amazing what you can read between the lines.

Merv Griffins sexuality was completely unbeknownst to me until a few months ago when I was trying to think of away to finish the phrase "gayer than a..." so I Googled it and, beside a lot of Richard Simmons references, i got "Gayer than a Merv Griffen pool party!"..... i was confused.

Im the same way, dont have the first clue about hollywood gay gossip, but to be fair, im not really that interested in whether celebs are gay or not [shrug]
