I've been "married" for almost a year now and it is great! Now we only need is a pill that can make 2 men have babies and then we are totally equal!

We would still be smarter and better looking than straight men, and we would still take better care of ourselves. We would still have cleaner, better decorated homes, better tastes, greater appreciation for the arts and greater acceptance of cultural differences.

We won't be equal. We will still be better.:french:

As a fellow mid-westerner (MI and MN), correct me if I'm wrong here Chad, but Iowa has always struck me as a pretty progressive state. Iowa always seems to rank high on the list of U.S. states for education and health.

If this had been Nebraska then I could see shitting a brick over this ...

Wow that's cool, I hope one day you will have that right in all your states.
I,m not married, but in canada even if your not married but live with a same sex partner you have the same legal right, after 18 years with my BF, we consider ourself married, so we don't feel the need to go further.

For me Iowa was always one of those states where I was never sure what went on. No one ever really mentions it. Like North Dakota.
