yup, they read 'em. my personal experience is interesting blogs with a pic sell significantly better than blogs with a few words and a pic. also i've talked with a few webmasters who aren't native english speakers whose blogs don't seem to sell well or even send much traffic even though they use pretty much the same size and quality of pics as other bloggers.

I also believe that they read, the surfer who's looking for just pic will go on tgp. IMO
