Yeah, I think they can tell the difference if they have seen real blogs and enjoyed them. But it probably doesn't MAKE a difference in terms of selling most porn, if surfers have caught on to using splogs as sources for free porn.

For selling personality sites, though, I think it makes a big difference for the blog to be real. If someone wants anonymous, generic porn than a splog will do as well as or better than a real blog, because that's the kind of surfer it attracts. If someone wants a personality and to really get to know one "model", than a real blog with a personal perspective should work better. Like converts like?
