I "tested" Naturally Speaking 9 (or whatever the latest version is) about a year ago and I found it quite handy. The error rate was rather low (German version) but I had some issues in the english version with the program understanding me

Before buying I'd recommend you a test of the app just for you to see if it is worth shelling out that money (just checked - its rather affordable these days in the US compared to europe )
