We had a model who died and he was quite proud of the work he'd done for us. Why would we take that away from him?

It's not like they pulled Rebel Without A Cause when James Dean died.

We in the adult industry have to be proud of what we do.

Yes, it's hard when people are out there promoting their 50-load weekends and their bareback conversion porn, but hey.. some of us are proud of what we do anyway.
I totally agree.

People's choices in life should be honored; reading some of the stupid comments on a big straight webmaster board about this makes me wonder why some people are even in this industry if they think a porn career (or just a few nude shoots or whatever) is such a horribly degrading thing to come to light after someone's died.

It seems like these attitudes come a lot from male webmasters and program owners regarding women in porn; it reflects the mentality that sex work is a horrible thing for a woman to do. The bothersome part is that the guys who capitalize on women feel this way. I have to wonder why they feel okay about THEMSELVES if what they work with women to do is so horrid.

Personally? I will roll over in my grave if anyone takes my site or any of my work down after I die. Of course, it's a little different since I have control over my site rather than someone else shooting girls wearing braces and cuddling teddy bears, but still . . .
