The biggest difference with netbilling is that you must aquire a high-risk merchant account. The few banks that issue US merchant accounts only issue them a few times a year. Or at least that was the case a few years ago.
The second biggest difference is the fees. Instead of paying 11-14% with a thirdparty processor, you're total processing fees are going to be mor elike 6-7%.
I don't believe netbilling offers an affiliate program. So you'll need your own affiliate script, custom or off theshelf like nats or mpa. Paying webmasters isn't a terrible ordeal but can be time consuming. Though with nats or mpa the payout reports can be spit out in quickbooks format. So, its just a matter of importing the payout file into quickbooks, loading the printer, and then stuff the envelopes. Its a little more involved but thats the gist.
Another nice difference is no more waiting 2-3 weeks for approval on new sites.
