I went to the Opening Night cocktail party last night, and everybody was asking the same questions - where's the parties?

Chi Chi usually holds an after-party but Andy told me last week they couldn't find a co-sponsor or a venue.

I spoke to Albert from Naked Sword, and he basically said the same thing. So there are no official pre-parties or after parties.

I'm suggesting Bearracuda at Deco Lounge for the after party. It's Bear Weekend (IBR) and it's always a fun time even when it's not a convention - plus they have a naughty dark room downstairs (shhhh, don't tell anyone...) :
