Ha! You're preaching to the choir. I think it's great he was a Gay stripper and is now a finalist on American Idol. I think it shows the general public a new face on the stereotype of what being a Gay man is (minus the nude stripping and Gay bar association ) though I don't know if he's out as being Gay. I don't watch American Idol.

I think it's pretty obvious who cares; the network, the general population of America and who they consider appropriate to be "an American Idol", the fans who pay to vote every show, etc. etc.

I personally think it's great. People tend to try and box in everyone to fit a narrow stereotype of who/what they are. People are dynamic. We do and are many things to many people. $0.02
