Seriously. MANY companies are using P2P in legal ways. Even at a basic level Playstation 3 is a P2P network.

Concerning Titan suing Verizon, it will be an expensive battle. Verizon has in the past withheld it's customers information. Only through a very exoensive court battle were they forced to give it up.

many of the new emerging technologies are relying on P2P. IF you follow the "rumor" blogs you will realize that Verizon is actually in talks with using P2P for an upcoming project.
