Hey, adwords, been there got the t-shirt and the grief. It looks like Google or rather Blogger is putting there spin on advertising too. Recently I've had a blog locked by Bloggers robots due to it having the characteristics of a spam blog, whatever that may be?

In my case all I've done is include links in my posts to my affiliate programs, courtesy links to photographers, model agencies and miscellaneous parties. Roughly 30% of my 487 posts will have had links put in place to advertise new film releases, promotions, etc.., all of which were relevant to the individual posts. According to Blogger a large number of links usually all pointing to a single site constitute spam. How may I ask is one supposed to acknowledge photographers work, link models to agencies and link films to sites without contravening this rule? A link on post no: 1 is not going to be seen by someone visiting a year later viewing post: 487. One link per domain, you've got to be joking!

So far it appears to me images and text in posts are fine, but links are a definite NO. Any linking presumably is going to have to be static in the Blog roll and site listing layout. Mmm..., now do I put a link to my main page, shop, vod site, DVDs...? Oh no that's just one link to many.

No wonder there's so many blogs with just images and youtube videos these days, what's the point of text if you can't link to the relevant content.

You know somebody once said to me 'Perseverance Pays', and it's true eventually I did sell him a new VW Van, but to this day I still wonder if it was worth all the grief.
